A butterfly garden will make an interesting addition to your yard. Listed below are some plants that are useful for attracting butterflies. Some of the plants are nectar plants that the butterflies feed on, and others are host plants that the butterflies need for laying their eggs and feeding the caterpillars that will become butterflies.

Some of the specialty plants we do for monarch butterflies are: Verbena bonariensis, Liatris ligulistylus, Ruta (rue), Asclepias incarnata, Asclepias tuberosa, Lupinus annua, Tithonia (mexican sunflower), Eupatorium (joe pye weed).
